LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene)
A softer, more flexible polyethylene plastic used for liners, bags, and squeeze containers.
Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is a thermoplastic with a density range of 0.910-0.940 g/cm³, making it softer and more flexible than HDPE. LDPE is commonly used for poly liners, squeeze bottles, plastic bags, and flexible packaging. While LDPE offers good chemical resistance and moisture barrier properties, it has lower stacking strength and temperature resistance than HDPE, making it less suitable for rigid industrial containers.
