Snap-On Lid

Snap-On Lid

A standard pail cover that locks securely onto the rim of a pail with a press-fit design.

A snap-on lid is the most common closure type for 5-gallon pails, featuring a channel around its perimeter that locks onto the pail's rim with a press-fit seal. Snap-on lids typically include an EPDM gasket for airtight sealing and a tear-tab for tamper evidence. They require a lid removal tool (pail opener) to remove. Standard snap-on lids are available in solid, spouted, and vented configurations to suit different applications.
