Injection Molding
Injection Molding
Manufacturing process where molten plastic is injected into a mold to produce containers and lids.
Injection molding is a manufacturing process where HDPE resin pellets are melted and injected under high pressure into a steel mold cavity. The plastic cools and solidifies into the shape of the mold, producing containers, lids, and closures with precise dimensions and consistent wall thickness. Injection molding is the primary method for manufacturing 5-gallon pails, offering high production speeds, excellent repeatability, and the ability to produce complex shapes.
